Here is a timeline of how we’ve interacted, strategized, and consulted with community members when developing the Rise Above Project.

  • <span style="text-decoration: underline;">May 2024</span> <br/> Project Branding Exercise with CAB Members

    The community advisory board provided feedback on the project branding.

  • <span style="text-decoration: underline;">November 2024</span> <br/> Project Branding Exercise with FFAN Community Members

    Community members who participated in our Family, Friends, and Neighborhoods (FFAN) study completed a survey to provide feedback on the project brand including colors, mood, and name.

  • <span style="text-decoration: underline;">February 2025</span> <br/> SRD Index Feedback Discussion Session 1

    Black community members and those who support these communities through research and/or services provided feedback on the Structural Racism & Discrimination (SRD) Index to support the design and implementation process.

  • <span style="text-decoration: underline;">June 2025</span> <br/> SRD Index Feedback Discussion Session 2

    Black community members and those who support these communities through research and/or services reviewed the revised Index and shared their intended use of the Index.
