The Rise Above Structural Racism for Black Health Equity Project

seeks to understand how historical structural racism and discrimination create neighborhood conditions that impact African Americans’ cancer risk, prevention, and screening behaviors.

The Black community experiences greater challenges in preventing and managing cancer due to inequitable systems.
